My MUST Have: No7 Match Made Concealer + Review!

Hello my lovelies,

Let me get straight down to it and tell you that the No7 Match Made Concealer is amazing! In my opinion it is anyway as it PERFECT for my skin tone, which has always been something that I have struggled to find for years. I have gone through concealers like crazy! The list is endless from Maybelline to Maxfactor and even Urban Decay! The ones that have came close  have always been either to chalky that my under eyes would look grey or too dark that it wouldn’t brighten up my eyes. In the end I stuck to Urban Decaysconcealer in M16 as it was the best match for me, until I seen No7’s being advertised. When I saw that they were also match made I was over the moon because I already have their match made foundation that I have been using for 2 years now and I swear by it!

When I purchased the concealer I got it in the same shade as my foundation which is ‘Deeply Honey’ and I was amazed with the results when I applied it! It comes in white packaging and looks like this……

It just glides on and feels so light, like your not wearing anything and blends so well into the skin. You really do not need a lot so to get the best results apply a small amount first then build it to your preference to avoid it creasing.

Here is the difference between my Urban Decay Concealer compared to my N07 one. The difference in my eyes is massive as it completely changes my look. The Urban Decay pictures were taken during summer so I was darker, however I did have to apply more bronzer/contour more as the concealer was darker.

Finally the difference between the two concealers………

I would HIGHLY recommend No7’s match made concealer, especially if you are using their foundation. They are the perfect combo!

Allure Clinique: Honey I Shrunk Body Wrap……..

Hello my lovelies,

I am back with another post about the amazing treatments Allure Clinique has to offer!

Now we all know summer is approaching fast and at some point we all desire to either have that bikini body, a flat stomach, tone up or to just lose a few inches to feel good about ourselves, especially if we are jetting of to a holiday destination. I can confess that I am a woman in this situation as I am going away in less that a month eeeeeek! However, I am not panicking as I have been using the Viber8 Machine that I recently posted about for just under a month and will continue to until my holiday.

As if that is not enough, I am also going to go ahead and treat myself to the Honey I Shrunk’ Body Wrap a few days before I go away. What is this? Sounds delicious don’t you think ladies? Well I don’t know about that but it is a weight loss treatment that gives you results that will make you feel delicious!

body wrap

What is ‘Honey I Shrunk’ ?

It is an inch loss body wrap system that works by lipolysis. Lipolysis is a revolutionary method of removing unwanted fat from the areas you want, the fatty cells are broken down by the solution changing the tryglycerides within the cells into fatty acid which can be excreted by lymph vessels and tissue fluids.

Following on from the wrap, the solution conditions and keeps on working into your skin for up to 72 hours. As the fat cells have been destroyed, for new fat cells to grow, you would have to eat excessively or unhealthily. So, those newly shed inches will stay off as long as you keep to your regime and lay off the cheeseburgers.

How does it work?

Honey I shrunk Body Wrap is totally effortless for you, non-invasive, pain free and no mess. Whilst in your underwear you will be carefully measured, & then the Honey I Shrunk oil will be applied. You will then be wrapped in a special heat generating wrapture where you lie down for 60 minutes on a heated bed covered in warm blankets to let the Honey I shrunk oil work its magic & loose you inches!!

After 60 mins you will be unwrapped, and re-measured again in the same places to reveal your total body inch loss. This is a completely mess free treatment so all you need to do is get dressed again and you’re good to go. The Honey I shrunk oil continues to work for up to 72 hrs and it is preferable not to wash it off or shower until the next day.

Believe me ladies the results are real, even though  have not had mine done yet I have seen it for myself on clients whilst I was at Allure Clinique. For example the client that had just had the ‘Honey I shrunk’ wrap, lost a wopping 17 inches! How amazing is that! Although the results do vary depending on the client, so for all you skeptics thinking that this is another myth think again as each client’s results at Allure Clinique have been between 10.5 – 18.5 inches! At only £50 as well for your whole body, whats not to love about this treatment?

If you are still a bit skeptical, here is photographic evidence from the Allure Clinique website itself to show how amazing this wrap truly is………..

This makes me even more excited to have mine done in the next 3 weeks! What do you think ladies…..would you give it a go?

Makeup of the Day: ‘Not quite Summer Glow’

Heyy lovelies,

I have not done a Makeup of the Day post in such a long time so I felt that it was a must to post one! This look is what I would call ‘A not quite summer glow’. What I mean by this is that it is still spring and even though the weather is starting to get better, it is not time to start doing an everyday summer glow to your routine.

Here is the look I created……..

Makeup of the Day

I would describe this look as a bronzy rosy brown sort of look if that makes sense? All the colours are perfect for spring but at the same time the glow makes it more of a summery look, especially when the light hits my face.

I created this look by using a MAC Eyeshadow Pigment in ‘Chocolate brown’ which looks more like a coppery/ bronzy brown when applied.

I also used Urban Decays naked 1 palette with colours ‘Buck’ and ‘Dark horse’ along with another eyeshadow by MAC called ‘Espresso’.

For my face I did my usual routine with No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation in ‘Deeply honey’ along with their match made concealer in the same shade. For highlight I used No7 liquid highlight and No7 bronzer along with MAC Blush in ‘Peaches’. For my brows I used Beauty UK high brow kit. For mascara I actually use two different ones which are Loreal telescopic and Maybelline colossal smoky volume express both in black.

What do you ladies think of this look? Would you wear it for summer or even spring?

Makeup Of The Day: Summer Glow

Hello my lovelies,

So this is just a quick makeup loo post to show you all my MOTD. It is such a nice day here in the UK, as most of you know the weather here is terrible 90 percent of the time! I was in the summer mood as the sun was out and have done quite a bronzy look on the eyes as well as the face to give a nice warm glow in the sun.

A Summer Night Makeup

Helloo my lovelies,

It has been a while and I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Unfortunately fall is very near and that is why I am sharing this post with you all on one of my favourite looks this summer, mainly for the evening. This look is very bronzy/warm with a lot of warm tones to it that will give you a nice summer glow (even when the sun has gone down). For this I have used different shades of browns on the eyes, both shimmer and matte to blend together well and give a smokey effect. Also to add a bit of colour on the cheeks and lips I have used a MAC blush (peaches) and a brown lipliner then (Sweetie) A pink toned lipstick on top. I do love dramatic eyes especially for evening, however if you wanted a daytime look or even to tone it down for evening do NOT add the dark brown to the outer corner and bottom lash-line to keep the eyes neutral and fresh.

I know it is quite depressing that summer is nearly over, which is why trying out a new look or doing your fav’s for summer will heighten your mood for trying something new in fall!

Soo enjoy what we have left of the summer! xx

Trend & Update: Ombre Hair (DIY) L’oreal Wild Ombre Kit

Heyy my lovelies, again it has been a while since I have posted anything for you. Since then there have been a few changes and one of those is changing my hair for the new season. I know ‘Ombre’ hair or as others would call it ‘Dip Dye’ hair is a very popular trend the a range of different colours. Caught up in the trend and coming across hundreds of pictures I picked up a DIY Wild Ombre kit by L’oreal and gave it a go. Unfortunately I do not still have the kit or I would have shown you the brush that came with it, even though I don’t think there is a point in doing so. By this I mean that the brush was not effective at all when it came to brushing the product through my hair, I mean it was so small that I had to grab my actual hairbrush and brush it through at the end to make sure it really blended and didnt leave any bleach spots!

Before I actually used the kit I dyed my hair a very dark brown to take the colour I had previously in it, here is the finished look after dying.

These pictures were taken just after I had washed the dye out and dried it, I noticed that after using the kit with bleach and lightener my hair was quite dry and knotted. However after conditioning a few times it did blend my hair in more and return it back to its shiny silky self :).

Here is a picture of what my hair returned to after a week…………

Overall I think I did a pretty good job with blending it into my hair, the results have paid off and the cost was a lot cheaper than going to the salon and getting it done. The kit was very good and came with clear instructions and  think it was around £6 or £7. Whats not to love about it! Well apart from the brush that comes with it but that can always be worked around :).

What do you think about my new hair? Would you Ombre your hair?

Until next time! 🙂 xx
